Mozambique Pomene Self-Catering Lodge
Sand & Sea is very involved with the social-economic development of the local communities. We laid a 2.4 km pipeline to the community that provides fresh water for drinking and cooking purposes.
We are actively involved in the Pomene School. We recently built an administrative office and also provide stationary for the school.
We also arrange for work opportunities to provide a stable income for households.
Sand & Sea is also promoting local crafted African art. This provides an income to local artists, and also helps to sustain the true Mozambique heritage.
We have a yearly Christmas party/event for all the youngsters in the village- a true celebration with lots of activities, fun and socialising for everyone.
